|
A studio and digital artist, I was born and raised in Flossmoor, Illinois—a suburb about 30 miles south of Chicago. Attending high school in the inner-city, I began my practice as a response to the observation and experience of isolation in my commute to school each day. Beginning as a studio painter, my work has transformed into a multi-media practice, engaging with digital visualization and forms to further articulate the experiential abilities of the fluidity of fine art and nuances of design. Active in both the art and design fields, I focus on engaging the fundamentals and expressive nature of studio art to output formative and innovative design practice. Particularly, I have found utilizing artistic visualization and the legible capacity of design allows for effective creative communication on for both the individual and interpersonal experience. Given, I am interested in exploring the integration of the ever-changing creative presence of both the consumer world and general public by employing my experience in commercial design work and generative and expressive art forms.
